the rocks are literally white washed
with the lime from annual visits
of the little autos. Collected some of the
"pink snow" and placed it under the
microscope. Spore-like characters of the
deposit easily recognized.

bay and got a rabbit each.

Dull day but I got out for walk on
bay from 12:30-1:45. Nearing Inughuk
furthest point on my staff (a some-
what shortened ski staff). Great
help in crossing ice foot, which is
