Overcast all day, tho' sun almost broke through at midday. Wind E 5-6 in earlier morning, later becoming lighter and variable. Calm evening. Looks like rain.

Collected mosses around old igloo sites and flowering plants there Captain Corner had seen and elsewhere - dinner at Peter's house.
Somewhat grouchy day with G.C. But why? Don't know
Called on Rasmussen after dinner. He returned with me to listen to music. EK & Dr. came in about 9:30 from seal hunting and K.R. stayed to chat with us all and three to evening luncheon. Left about 11:20.
Unassok had No ship or "any" day. light pilotto.
Began to rain about 11 o'clock. Leaves are beginning to show their autumn colors.
