They were going only as far as We-a-uk-da-han-ni to-day, when they will feed their dogs, preparatory to going on to-morrow and the weather looks promising to-night for another good day. Five Kalmatics and thirteen Estimos were in the party, as follows: Accommodingwaq and Inaloo, Kahweahlsewah and Kahda, Nookarpiingwaq, We-we and their two children, Elooka'o'oq and Alni'ah, Sammitc, Ahtwageeah and Oodee. Only Munnisboq, Ahtwagoodlo and the latter's 6 weeks old baby are now left in the village. The girls act lonely, but their husbands are coming back with meat to-morrow or next day. I started out on my walk ahead of the bunch. They overtook me near the southern point, but I overtook them again on the south side of the strait between the point and Radcliffe Island where they were leaving the old ice for the rough new ice lying between them and their destination.
