There are lots of 4x5 plates (229)
here and he has very cameras
so that he would have plenty of the
best kind of outfit for me on the
ship, if he were to let me have
all the 3A films. It seems therefore
as if he might help me out a
little more (say another $) for
my interesting journey!

Packed one of my grips today. Last night
took my last bath, I think, before start-
ing southward - my next one will not
come before I reach Ufarnivike, I
fear.
Two mile walk in early afternoon,
bringing in some salt from the Point.
Disagreeable day.
all set now except for a little
sewing which Ahdenaah can easily
finish tomorrow.
At 9:30 this evening, just as
Mummi's oog was sitting down to
putting patches on the elbows of my
shirt, the noise of arriving Kahma-
tiks was heard. Mummi dropped
the shirt as if it had burned her and
she and all other skins in the house
rushed outdoors to see the new
corners. Some one returned an-
nouncing Accomodinaag,
Oblotiaq and Ahdelahnywaq.
Mae went out and I followed.
