About 7:30 Innabook, Ahndalungual, and Norwana, the last carrying her 9-day old baby in her hood, started from the house for the top of the Unnamak. The took two photos of them before they started later. The girls went only a short distance and sat down for a visit out of sight of the house. Peter read me part of a letter from Inspector Lindow inquiring about becoming the report now current among the Eskimos and Danes to the effect that Piawato had been shot, in- stead of meeting his death in the snow.
