O Still raining a little. Wind S.E.3-4,
the gale having blown itself out during
the night. Rained hard during night.
Temp. 8a. 44°; 12m. 46½°; 4p. 44°; 8p. 43°
Ice remains as it was at midnight
Some grounded icebergs between the Pe-
touik Point and the Ummalik seem
to be holding the ice in the bay.
The ice is in two big pans, besides the
numerous cakes along the shore.
Captain Comer has been arrang-
ing the best of his finds on pieces
of thin cardboard in a rough sort
of classification. They look well
and show some good results for the
work that he has been putting in
as the old refuse heap. Rasmussen,
et al. were much interested in look-
ing at some of them last evening.
