Calm from mid afternoon on. Temp. 8a.44°; 12m. 42°; 4p. 42°; 8p. 44½° Dr. returned to house at 7 a.m. They saw no narwhal, but the Eski- mos got 5 furrese. Captain Comer moved over into one of the igloos Sunday night for sleeping quarters. Seems to be an invitation to his rheumatisms to return! He would in all probability be in- censed enough, had he been ask- ed to make the change, but it is his own plan!
