waked up the time registry and set it off
at work. Kept "blue flame" lamp burn-
ing under the clock. Work all day, but has
extinguished it for to-night.
Out for an hour's walk before our noon
dinner. Wind very strong in middle
of fjord. This morning got harnessed
my pups, four of them, for the first
time, using the reeother as a leader.
The team started off and went all right
after a little trouble in harnessing;
the pups following the reether willingly.
After nine this evening Kahda rushed
in stark naked - the boy had apparently
been left alone in the igloo next door
after he had turned in for the night. He
came awoken here an hour before
gone back with Ahminah and the rest.
Pretty cool inside and cold out doors
for the "altogether"!
Wore my rabbit skin stockings for
first time this fall. Have been using
two pair of woolen socks and an inner
pair of kamikles for some months, as
being more comfortable during the
warmer weather.
Have been looking over Cook's "Voy-
atteainment of the Pole" this evening.
It is filled with false and misleading
statements and visions lies. It seems
a pity not to publish a book exposing
and refuting them.
