I turned back at "Fault Lake", 128 560' above the sea, 2 1/2 -3 miles from the house. This lake or pond is in a depression in one of the numerous fault zones that traverse this region and is much deep than others in the vicinity, there being apparently 10-12' or more of water along southern side.
