Cloudy. Many banks of heavy cloud.
High E. wind continued till latter part
of afternoon. Late afternoon became
wholly overcast. Breezed up again in evening.

Ek & I slept in the house last night on ac-
count of the gale.

upper part of sloping plain at base of
cliffs N.E. of Peter's house, from
