Overcast. Calm. About 9 o'clock fog
settled down on the cape region.
This morning in the course of general con-
versation Jot said that Mene said that there
were nine boxes of foxskins left in Jot's
care when Mac started for Crookedland
i.e. Mene counted them then and re-
ported to Jot. Dr. remarked that
Tongwi said that he (Tongwi)
had let Mac have his foxskins
this spring (1916), i.e. Peter reported
that Tongwi owed the station furs &
and did not pay them because
they had been sold to Mene -
Noon- a little spitting snow. Clearer
later but still wholly overcast.
Told Mr. Rasmussen this afternoon,
that I did not wish to charge him
