Got up and searched the area for birds and reptiles in and around the spring park area. Talked to two men from the forestry service. They are constructing a trail from Cottonwood Spring to Lost Palms.
The Hermit Warblers have arrived there in numbers today. Also saw a ♂ Costa Hummer in courtship flight. Several Red-tailed Hawks flew over. They seemed very light in color. Finally collected the Arkansas Goldfinch. Saw a Shrike take a young.
