Salt 1950 Journal Big Spring Pub camp, 9½ mi S. Mono Mills, mono Co., Caly. May 30 to collect cliff swallows. We got 5 there. Also yellow warblers in willows by pond + rock wren + killdeer around gravel heaps. at south end of Tahoe saw + heard cassin finches around meadows -- Also heard what we thought was a ruby-crowned kinglet singing from top of pine -- Echo pass still heavily patched with old dirty drifts of snow-- on home --
