The Contents of Box No. 3, Ornith. Dept. for Relief, correspond with the
Catalogue; but in Box No. 2, I found this was 13 Ornith. Spec. with an
erroneous label stating that they belonged to Box No. 3, (more probably Box No. 4). Box
No. 4, having been badly packed, contained only 13 instead of 17 Specimens, for
half a part of the latter belonging here.
There was but 72 Ornithological Specimens in Box No. 5, instead of 77, that
the Artists were to have placed in the Catalogue.
No Box No. 1 for Relief could be found; there was one with the Relief label, No. 9,
containing the whole, called for us the 13th of —
No Box No. 2 for the Relief could be found. There was one, No. 10, with 54 Bird Skins.
No Box No. 3 for the Relief could be found; there was one, No. 11, with 5. Maltay skins,
Depot Log of the Botanic Collection, presented its contents in an entire state of decomposition.
