Clear, brilliant day- Black Phoebe calls heard often from direction of Daisy every day- Mar.6. Clear, beautiful day. Many B-c. Thrushes singing. Mar.7. Cloudy again - One quail in flock mines head plumage. Mar.7. Cloudy, cold. Hear rain at night. Many Glaucous- winged Gulls on bay-Also W., Calq. & Ring billed. Mar.8. Showers and sunshine. 1 Y-c. Sparrow at fountain Mar.9- Clearing-Showers- Mar.10. Clearing- Mar.11. Sunny-fine day- Mar.12. Partly cloudy- Mar.13. Heavy rain all day- Mar.14. Colder. Two hard hail storms. Heard Winter oven below house. Mar.15. Brilliant, cold day with frost in morning. Mar.16. Cloudy. Heard House Wren and Rufous-crowned Sparrow at 6 p.m. in Sunny Gulch. Mar.17- First Bird Walk in Sunny Gulch. Found W- Gratecater- and several Rufous-crowned Sparrows Many Flickers- Cloudy-
