1926 Tufet (only winter visitor seen) Vegors Wren - 1 Titmouse - several Bush-tits - few Wren-tut - Weather fine - Horned Lark - heard. E. H Richmond. 43 species. At home: Flock of about 12-15 quail came. Male calling on guard at 5 p.m. Thrasher and Tolmie Warbler, Lilac-cunt and Pielolated, Spotted Towhee and Song Sparrow and Vegors Wren singing. Robins near Wildrose - Titmouse still feeding young - April 17- Rainy. Small flock of quail came. Also pair - Apr. 18. Clearing. Mr. and Mrs. Kibbe walked from Ross to San Quentin over the same road covered by us on Friday last. They found the same birds exe. Night Heron and added to our list the Summer Warbler, W. Bluebirds, about 40 Curlew and a Kite, the latter near the ranch where we found the Herons' nests. Mrs. Boger & Mrs Cole reported R-b Thrush - Apr. 19. Our oak trees were all sprayed with Arsenate of Lead. Titmouses at 4 p.m. were feeding several worms at a time, sometimes following each other immediately and both re- turning after 4-10 minutes. Jannie up again. Small came in flock - 12-15. Tolmie Warbler singing constantly -
