This corresponds with S. nemorosa Gauntz "Ex V W Geis" (B.M.) C.P. 639 (Not mentioned in Cote, Bm or BVH) Floral br ovate, acuminate, broader than calyx --
calyx purplish, hairy, resinous-dotted, 2-lipped,
the upper lip shortly v sharply 3-toothed, the
lower with 2 longer acute - tipped teeth; corolla
1/2 in long -- the tube little exerted, the limb pers-
fusely resinous-dotted. Fruits also: racemes often
with 2 opp. lateral branches (all BVH) and fru.
with no blood-red spots (B.M./C.P.). Query does
S. pratensis L. (if Cote, Bm v BVH) include
S. nemorosa Gauntz (if B.M./C.P.)? Receptacle
(at S.) relatively large & swelling (1 mm + high)
[Later fls found fully 3/4 in long See SVKI 567 as to
large & small fls, 5-13-34 small is 1/2 in corolla, had
no pollen, in otherwise well developed stamens.

fls. fls common. 2-3 in high. Lvs as desc vlll B.VH.
Note this agrees with 2-25-30 and ? 3-14-30 in stigmues
olive green and receptacle alveolate with short fring
of hairs around each depression. Inv l back blue.
Flots ovate. Note the swelling in axis of many of them
which makes them spreading. See also 1-16-
