Sepals short, thin & yellowish, inconspicuous. Hairy. Fl. 18 mm diam. Petals more than 5 in several cases. (See 5-14-31 which suggests this is a very small spec.) 5-12-31 Crocus vernus L. (See 4-15-9) Flabundant llgerank (snow just melting). Throat with ring short hairs at level where stamens attached. (BM & CP vs Bor v Cote), but filament glabrata (Bor says "filament glabra") . Claws only slightly longer than filament 5-12-31 Ranunculus aconitifolius L. Cote I 23, Bor 7/7. North of Chambly in wet meadow 18 in high. Sepals purplish & early deciduous. Petals white, st solid. 5-12-31 Ranunculus auricomus L. Cote I 29, Bor 9. BVH 49. Fl. North of Chambly. Petals aborted. 5-12-31 Vaccinium Myrtillus L. Cote #504, Bor 200. BVH 289 Fl. Sonloup - Chambly. Bud reddish and pointed at apex.
