Its roots h'c mosty recurved but the lower parts gone also
among fls 5-20 mm wide v 5-(or more) nerved (deutidif than
G Pneumantia. Fls all sessile (A P has lower ones at
least pedicell?) Calyx closely tubulose (n brushing on inside
v apatthelilos) with very short linear, distinct teeth from the
truncate rim. Corolla lighter blue than A P- with less
def longitudinal bands outside with dull dots all over the
inside surface. Ovules clearly plainly that seeds will be
"ringsum breit geflügelt"

Fls f-l, same species same place as 7-19-31. Root thick (10-13
mm) swelling to almost 25 mm toward point where
tvs develops, perh. Creeping with many thick side
roots but none found enlarging into tubers. Some local
spesly depts, some at other
be only shallowly lobed contrasting with st. tvs which
are lobed almost to midrib and sharp pointed at apex
Best guess is that this is hybrid JC. oleraceum Desp x C.
aeacul all both common in general region or perh C. Oler-
aceum Desp x C. foliatum arvense Desp, see Bot II 350
