laurel Herman M2 Feb 1970 [illegible] As I write this, the sun is just setting. A warm breeze blows through my hair. The sky is a deep orange and pink. Birds are flying south for the winter. It's a beautiful day to be outside. I remember when I was a child, my grandmother would take me to the beach every summer. We would build sandcastles and play in the waves. She taught me how to swim and how to ride a bike. Those were some of the happiest days of my life. Now, as an adult, I try to spend more time outdoors. I enjoy hiking and camping with my friends. It's important to stay connected with nature and the world around us.
