Andubonis Warbler. (?)
656.
(Dendroica auduboni)
1891
Jan. 19. Saw one by the dump yards today.
Jan. 27 These birds are Pol. Can., I hear of seeing occasionally.
Regulus calendula?
1894 Dec. 7 This fall I have discovere
ed that what I have been
carelessly calling Prairie
Dustin are really Aud. Warblers.
Hence past notes on Spining
prince belong here.
Last Summer I took a beautiful
full plumaged S. Andubonis
in Sugarloaf Canyon, San
Antonio Mts. (+-?) and this
led to my discovery of the
error.
(See pp. 30.)
Jan. 12. 1895 The specimen mentioned
above is quite different from the
winter specimens (as No. 173).
