1105 Fe on nest facing northwest. Sun still hits nest.
1115 F. turned head higher - facing north.
1116 F. turned again still facing north.
1122 F. stirred, fluttered & resettled with bill open.
1126 F. stirred throat, bill still open, facing north.
1131 F. raised, turned to southeast, resettled, bill open.
1132 F. stirred, faces east, wings out.
1134 to 1135 much stirring, settled facing xxxix north, bill closed.
1137 Opens & closes bill.
1138 Fidgets, faces north-northwest.
1139 M. sings from upslope to south - perhaps 200ft. away. Repeated song
several times
1144 F. stirred, humped body up, "licked chops."
1145 F. stirred, raised up on south rim of nest, turned eggs, & resettled.
1148 M. sings again from east-southeast, repeated about 5 times.
1153 F. stirred twice.
1154 F. left nest, dropped to ground 25 feet from nest tree, drank from
small stream, went on up slope to trees, preened briefly.
1156 F. flew on to south, then east.
1200 observers getting hungry.
1201 F. returned to nest, sat opening and closing bill, facing southeast.
1205 Observation ended.
