"text": "VISIT : Aug. 17\nI saw a series of deep pools separated by low waterfalls & short rapids (not very turbulent).\nof forest) but were not covered in our visit.\nstreams themselves as well as the highway (bedrock strip)\nOceotoma canadensis, O. velutinae, etc.) are exten-\nsaw-toothed grasses (Achnatherum spp.)\nGeronimus cordulatus, Salix sp., Cornus californica,\ncan cover itself in a short time.\nHampshire Rocks Camp Ground, 2500 ft., on S Fork Yuba\nRiver, Placer Co..
