W. Wood Pewee - very common at both Cisco & Lake side.
Blue-fronted Jay -
Clark Nutcracker - Mt. Cisco & Summit - Also at Lake side - many heard.
Bullock Oriole - at Cisco.
Brewer Blackbird - at lake below Summit - also at Lake side etc.
Calif. Evening Grosbeak, very ab. at Cisco.
Calif. Pine Grosbeak? at Cisco - looks quite dark gray on breast. Bill
I think for Solitaire.
Cassin Purple Finch at Cisco and at Lakeside.
Calif. Linnet - one seen in meadow in Lake Valley - another at Lakeside.
Mr. Adams showed me a nest he found under the eaves in his cottage.
The nest looks much like that of a linnet.
Green-backed Goldfinch - com. at Cisco and Lakeside.
White-crowned Sparrow - a few at Cisco.
Sierra Junco - ab. at Cisco, Lake side etc. A young junco in
strikes juvenile plumage walked over my feet as I stood outside
our cabin washing clothes at Lakeside.
Lincoln Sparrow - on Yuba River at Cisco.
Green-tailed Towhee - at Cisco.
Pac. Black-headed Grosbeak - com. at Cisco.
W. Warbler - com. at Cisco and Lakeside.
Tree? N. Violet-green Swallow - at Cisco and Lake side - On Aug. 5 while we were rowing
a flock of about 30 flew directly northward.
