After lunch we drove down out of the storm, following down the east side of the valley to Clies where we had dinner, then drove on to Margsville for the night. Between Mineral and Clies I saw:
Meadowlark, Oriole, Kingbirds, Brewer and Red-wr. Blackbirds, Barn Swallows, Kingfisher (just off Clies), Lark sp., Mourning Doves, Schrike, Cliff Swallows, Buzzard, Calif. Woodpecker, Black Phoebe, Magpie, Crows-
