Apr 21st Left Stromjord at 2 in morning. Reached Sortokai evening. Bothered much by ice & wind so that had to go out of our way several times. Decided to wait for better weather at the fishing village of Sortoka. I have sent two boys on men to Holtenborg tonight, if it is possible for them to get there. He will tell Capt Thorsen of Hans Egede that the Post is here and may influence him to wait in case we are delayed here by weather a ice. Apr 22nd Left at 7.30 A.M. and reached Holtenborg at 3 P.M. I was on bicycle all the way. Gorris Benzer was down to water from to meet us & welcome him. He ship not heard from yet. Those 300 krone from Benzer I have paid all my bills.
