1963 Journal 25 Aug than I remember last year about this time, Started to rain again about 2100, steady downpour. Wind hasn't become very strong but starting to. Pretty sure the ridge-pole will hold. Strong winds & rain started about 2100 and lasted a couple hours. May hold down the catch. 26 Aug Snarru River, Alaska Weather: overcast with scattered showers. mild wind from the west. Checked traps around 0900. Rick & I cleaned up as much as possible, then read. Rick checked his pitfall insect traps and came back with a weed. About 1500 we started picking up the traps. Saw a Long-tailed jaeger near I & II. The 2 small jaegers last night could have been Longtails. Float plane arrived right on time!!! Rick & I left with the first load. Head to be home. Upon returning, Lopman told me 2 old lines I & II backwards and III & IV backwards. I'll have to ask Dave or leave a note or something. Dick & Debbie already left with the R4D to Anchorage. Checked Mullen's aerial photo with lines indicated. More appropriate changes.
