May flowers. Doesn't the same as 4-29-27 and very likely L. leonurus Bb. BMJC P 647 this diff is some clear. Two lanceolate (upper 1/2 in g at only gathered) 3 x 1/2 in, acute, tapered to base. Entire toward base but from a little below middle serrate, pubes- cence rather harsh. Inflorescence axillary whorls, the fl almost ped- icelled or almost sessile. Bracts at base infl many aurifute not actually 1/2 as much in length as the supra more than 3/4 cm petioles shorter then calyx tube (See BMJC P.) deflexed d curving upward so that they reach hardly to base of calyx tube. Calyx tube almost 1/2 in inflated with 16 short sharp pointed teeth 8 being smaller than the others. Corolla 2 in overall 1/4 wide, the upper 3/5 is the oblong erect upper lip, the deflexed lower lip consisting of 3 triangular lobes 1/2 - 3/8 in long. Corolla densely mange pubescent. Corolla outside, calyx outside & tops of the 3 angled bracydivisions densely covered with eritate spherical glands (20x)
