ular lobes, turning sample maroon brown veining. Alt. with calyx lobes attached to top of tube 4 superior petals or scales, slighter than calyx lobes same tower color. Stamens 4, tips calyx lobes, attached to top of tube a trifle longer than petals, turning the same color, a tuft of white hairs behind each filament. Style simple, stigma 3-lobed, vary partly in series, ovule 1, erect tapering at top. Fr dark, thin skinned drupe about 3/4 inch diam almost covered to the top with flattened circle formed by base of calyx. Calyx lobes at first light (and acc is exactly white) Lo sepe, firm, wings very slender. All part glabrous. 5-17-'29 Begonia radicans L p 353 BMQ.C.P. 687 to flr fr. Vines climbing with aerial roots on tree east side south end of Valley Way. 2ro jops just coming out, 2ft to 1ft in 6 roffs and 9 ft fromd left (1 small old left just below hermmud are) Radiis noticeably white pubescent at base of petiollets. 5-18-'29 Delonicereous grandiflorus Button Rose p 206. BMQ.C.P. 524 Bud 1st house on Middle Rd no side west of St. Pauls. Bud 3 in overall slightly prognant stiles set. Axillary pet l hairs girled very sloppy wooly lobe. Not yet evident that stamens are in 2 series. Ovules attached in cleatios on wall of ovary.
