tower color. Stamens 4, tips calyx
lobes, attached to top of tube a trifle
longer than petals, turning the
same color, a tuft of white hairs
behind each filament. Style simple,
stigma 3-lobed, vary partly in
series, ovule 1, erect tapering at top.
Fr dark, thin skinned drupe
about 3/4 inch diam almost covered
to the top with flattened circle formed
by base of calyx. Calyx lobes at first
light (and acc is exactly white)
Lo sepe, firm, wings very slender.
All part glabrous.
