"5-18-29" Iatrophea podagrica, Nook p. 211 (labeled) Agri. Stat. Fl. Very like J. multifida except lighter (more yellower). Red v distinct obtuse peduncle. Clusters several & fls all loose in cyme. Ovules 1 in each cell pendulous with 2 lobed seed ston point attachment. Stamens & in the 4 fls examined. Pistils taken only. 5-17-29 Short labeled "Musaenda frondosa" at Agri. Stat. Examined miniature fr. 1/6 in long, 2 celled, each containing many ovules standing at right angles to axile filamentary. Ovules not numerous. Fr. (evidently a Capsule) oblong slightly flattened on axis at right angles to div. but cells. 5-17-29 "Breynia morosa" small p. 200 BMJ CP 454 Agri. Stat. & fls only found showing ovary 3-celled v ovules in cells (number not stated) Pistil were buds of fls at tips frondose. 5-17-29 Melianthus major L p 227 BMJ CP 492. Fl. Agri. Stat. Lower scapeolate [or glabrous] sepals has a very short cream member inside it (young & opening in sepal) Filaments flat base, the 2 posterior free, the 2 anterior connate with a slight lamemode between. Distal lobe 4-protuberant like glands. Ovules 4-6 in each cell. Divide cell gland perfect. Petals very pompous (glandular?) and woolly along limboweries mutilated. There are scars from
