lvs are as desc (BM) C.P.404 and
plant has blueish rather than yellow
ish cast but would be hard to
distinguish without fl. fr.
Racemes 2-4 in long loosely fruited.
white while M.Indica has racemes

Eachly subtended by at least one
large bract 1½ in x ¼in, edges hyaline
& ruffled, lobed at top with middle
dobe suborbicular, completely overlap.
amongsting lateral lobes, laccate wedge,
2d sheathe with broadly lanceolate
bract 1½ in long. Group of young
frs at node of new shoot (2 in
long) fr is subtended by bract
as described above which bears about
⅓ distance below apex a flattened
linear, lanceolate appendage
in long which expands into small
spatulate tip. Is this the beginning
of new shoot?
