St. have slight purpleish tinge.
Sts lvs finely puberulent & thus some-
what clinging to touch.

Fl Wreck House. 4ft. St. sharply 4-angled
& channeled on the 2 ups of each (alt
with lvs). Villous hirsute through lvs
& desc. Bracts lanceolate acuminate,
stiff hairy, ciliate, purplish or edges.
4mm long onto fixing Calyx by abt 1/2mm. Calyx 3+mm., pubescence
coarser & stiffer than "delicate" Corolla
tube 4mm. Its limb 3-4mm wide.
Stigma 3-unequal lobes: 1 blunt, the
othr apicular & smaller. The 4 stamens
inserted at 2 diff lengths on tube.
