The 2 stamens filaments with enlarged bases. On each side of filament base 2 subulate pedicle \frac{1}{2} mm long bases also somewhat enlarged, looking like filaments of sterile stamens. 4-3-29 Zantedeschia aethiopica, Spring plos B.M. & C.P. 138 F.L. Warwick Pond. Stamens free seem to be mostly in groups of 2 but this very hard to determine. Every several ovuled but cannot tell how many celled as perianth parts. 4-3-29 Plantago major L. p. 359 Warwick Pond. B.S. not coming into fl until later is thistle-looking plant surface glab shining but set wide scrobicula esp. on margined fertile lf pericarpily to touch.
