Stipes pointed 1/2 os when detailed R. 4-22-29 This wood at Woodhaven calls fern prob same as above Fiji Fern. Sotlis Polypodium aureum L BM GEP 63. 5-6-29 Same fern at Maywood Mr Cox calls Five Finger or Tricidus Fern ? Turns Ways Rocks Garden. 3-11-24 Blechimum occidentale, L. Not in B.F. BB. but if in BM of C.P. Pundoff, all of this is 1-pinnate. Sori in lines parallel to v very close to mid-rib on each side almost entire length of pinna. Indusium attached on outer edge. Lateral veins folding one usually near the midrib), free and ending shortly before reaching margin. Ends of lateral veins shows slightly froodened on upper side (20x). Pinna both entire to eye but (20x) has very minutely toothed edge. Pinnae & lanceolate (the one collected is 4 1/4 in x 1/2 in at base) acuminate and curved presumably upward, green glabrous but not shining. Some fronds, pers. young one bright reddish bronze.
