Fl bright scarlet in flattened inf. Peduncles to 8 in long, stout. Pedicels shortifyng. X 3-21-29 "Cassia grandis - Pinkshaver" labeled Agri St. Young tree in open space so east of dwelling. No flos, its first appearing. Obsd. 3-21-29 "Hyophobe Verschaffeltii from Mascarene Isls" labeled Agri Stat. no. Entrance to dwelling Palin, lvs pinnate. No flos f2. Observed. 3-21-29 Dwarf magnolium in fl with lvs variegated white v green. 3-21-29 "Felicia - an annual" labeled Agri Stat. Border by green house. Fl composite with blue ray & yellow disk. X 3-26-29 Exacaria bicolor, Hash p 230 Fl. 9-307 Rosemont. St lvs absolutely glabrous, very smooth to touch. Lf to 6x1 1/4 in
