p141 Lf like ill. St. purplish green,
fubescient with straight white hairs
appressed with tip downwards. Hairs
very thick, less closely appressed but
pointing downward at top of petioles.
Lf 2 in long x 2 1/4 wide. Pubescence
scattered above & on the nerves beneath.
Lf ciliate. Lf-hairs pointing upward.
Base pubescent 8'1/2 in., upper petioles
3 1/2 in. Each lobe lf serrucrate with
short brown glandular tips (20x)
Peduncle of fto only fl out 1 3/4 in, pedicel
almost 1/4 in. At top of peduncle 4 linear
lanceolate bracts 3/4 in long and one
dim what appears to be sessile
apetalous fl (perhaps rudimentary)
Defla. 5mm long (1mm being awl & fo)
sate, 3 nerved, pubescent but
