Upper lvs. lobed entire to eye fret (20X) are slightly very low fine sorted. Lower lvs very finely low sorted even leaves barely visible to eye. Drfl. cynae (compound cynes) Calyx naked at base, inflated 1/2 in diam. v slightly narrowing toward top, almost the high, glabrous, planconvex, nerves not conspicuous, 10 principal ones v often intermediate ones. Teeth 5, broad based, broad acute at tip, 1/8 in high. Calyx margin whitish, short-ciliate (20X), each tooth with dark tip (20X). Petals 5 on long claws which at base for distance of 2 mm unite with base. Stamens around the v with the stalk that supports ovary. Petalos 3/4 in overall, claw widening toward top v lobed on each side at base of blade, 3-nerved. Blade 1/8-3/8 in 1/2 in wide, deeply cleft, margin somewhat serrag not quite entire, with 1/2 small lobes at base but petal not created. Blade rose tinged at tips v on back. Veins on back greenish. Stamens 10, underdeveloped. 5 alt with petals the bases of filaments adherent to claws for 2 mm. 5 off petala filaments adherent to claw 1mm above point where it becomes free. Styles 3, 7/8 in long, separate to base, stigmatic at expanded tips and inc very narrow line down inside to base. Ovary 1/2m, glabrous v shining, dark purple v green. Ovules many, on central placenta which seem joined joined to wall in slices. Orules reticulated. Flopen at throat as that ovary is visible.
