Anthers reach almost to top & percenta lobes hence as lobes spread alow as exerted. Lvs to 3 ft. Fl scape prom inently scaly. Flow groups of 2-3 subtended by small scale. Stud studied was abnormal having 4 percental lobes, 9 stamens, style stigma distinctely lobed vary irregularly more than 3-cells. 3-23-29 Centranthus macrocephalus, Rosio Fl. Anthers bluish green, corolla hairy esporedges v inside at v belw throat. "Cape Gooseberry" presented out 3-11-29 by Mrs Allen Smith at Wm Bealy's Rock Garden.
