Ovaries about 15 in each cell, in 2 rows. Scapes solid 2-23-29 Leucojum aestivum L. see B.MJCP P. 184. Fl & ln. bt at Hamilton. Scapes flattened with 2 sharp angles. Ovaries 9 in each cell in 2 rows. 2-23-? ? Melua officinalis, L BMJCP 23. Fl stem but not basal lvs. Bt at Norway. St as longt 11in with buds to the very base. (Fls open at top first) St leafy at base with lvs. 3½ x ?/m beside outbending like scorpioid racemes & diminished toward tip of st. vinseled & outbending the racemes are rather laterally in the axils gracemes. Fls bright blue 3/in diam. St calyx & lvs hairy with white appressed hairs. Ovaries muricute like? corolla not rolled up in bud. 2-21-29 Tarilio Antiracous, Smel p284 Frat f agri. Bt. field Fl v pr. Umbels or long peduncles app lvs. Lobe fonter fleraly'd. St white (purplish greened) with short stiff white hairs pointing down. Our petals & lob(both surfaces) similar hairs point upward. 2-21-29 Solanum Seaforthianum Auds.. p 387 v B.M.JC.P. 656 Agri St climbing over old building near So road. Fl. 1p within 10in of the only 2½ in long.
