into cup as indicated. Ovaries about 15
in each cell, in 2 rows. Scapes solid

to the very base. (Fls open at top first)
St leafy at base with lvs. 3½ x ?/m beside
outbending like scorpioid racemes & diminished toward
tip of st. vinseled & outbending the
racemes are rather laterally in
the axils gracemes. Fls bright blue
3/in diam. St calyx & lvs hairy with
white appressed hairs. Ovaries muricute
like? corolla not rolled up in
bud.
