2-22-29 Asparagus drepanophyllus Welw. B.M./C.P. 166. Blomfield Vine over trees by So. wall. Lvs v fr. mly no fls. Main st woody v w/ thk bark-wad curving spines. Frs red, 3-lobed, 3/4 in diam, 1-seeded. Claddes in pairs w/ a slit (cut thru by a spine) between. Shots 1-2 in beding 1-2 mmse variously scattered clades and at tips 3-5 claddles in whorl. Clade linear falcate 1-2 1/4 in long x 3/8 or less in wide.
