Calyx purplish-brown. nh gamopetalous with 5orite lobes staminode stamens 3?m in one curved) filament white thecalis anters conasting & thecalising ? 1/2p. White sect ? a little tall 3/4in across 1/4 in deep. Between calyx and stamens a white (partly lost) number on lobesalt. with sepals and paras, glande (white) bet lobes. Flo fall to bearing nodules redish. No ? flo seen. 2-14-27 Summerlade & Buckley Inflo ? racem? similar pedecled from same pot. Containt 3 celled (cach ruled), ovary seated cuplike calyx. Lfles seem to be 4 (lbs 3 CPH 1906 p 344 "leaves") somewhat celate. ? leaf 3. X ?not show redical vertifime st surface subtledly back on each side of pedicell.
