Suff. glabrous. The (usually less than 5) perianth parts not necessarily from corollae, but much as if N (Cote). Seeds slightly less than 1mm. but not really sharply edged. St. looks green or white striped only when held against light. Nothing else in SVI seems possible. Cf with C. polypoderrnum L.; with what is prob C. album L. and with another plant (in bad condition). This kind of glabrous green livs are the shape C. rubrum. Cote III 184 ill. Last 2 species very similar but M. suave has shorter fl-bearing branches which are offy almost to fl (M dis- has longer, more slender branches naked for some distance below fl.
