7-18-34 Lathyrus tuberosus L. Coste 401; Boh 88, Boh 131; A 527; Sv K 421 Fl. North side Canal bet. La Grugette and Phone. One plant only seen. Corolla a lovely bright red, free, finetied to one side. Flowers incomprehenably but definitely net-veined. 7-18-34 Trifolium hybridum L. BM CP 405; A 509; Boh 119; Box 48 = T.—L. 2ep fistulosum, Sv K 404 = T. fistulosum Gilib Coste I 343 Fl. Field near it La Grugette → Noille. Agrees with dese Sv K key 17* Pedicels of inner flo 4-5mm long while Calyx tube is 2- mm long and upper Calyx teeth with rounded sines fully as deep as sinuses of the other teeth. Fl 9-10mm overall, of which Calyx (including teeth) is 5 mm (Coste less not helpful). It is hollow & com- pressible. Lateral nerves (as they take off from mid- nerv) about 20 on each side (Sv K) but as they all branch again towards edges left there are about twice as many teeth. Hint of T. repens. 7-18-34 Clenopodium glaucum L. Coste III 186; Box 369; Boh 387; A 367; Sv K I 2/6 Flo. Villeneuve dump. Roots, 10 in high with many branches from base (these branches decumbent at base & freely rooting in water in house) as thickish & squarish the only undersurface mealy.
