SVKI/16 F2. Rochers de Naye. In thick stubble tufts,
with copious slender filaments below the hro. All Coste good.
9-5-34 Pinguicula alpina L. Coste II 515; Bon 204, BON
366; SVKI 624. Fl Rochers de Naye eastern ridge bet.
Hotel Jardin Alpin near Androsace lactea L. (This
MacFarland & R. Apee. Rdn X. 7-3-34) Fl as ll Coste, coral
colored with yellow spot (n apoto?) at base of lower lip.
Lower lip of calyx (as remembered 7-15-34) very slightly
divided.
9-5-34 Phleum nodosum L. Coste III 540, B/H-532: P.

pratense L. var. nodosum Scriber. Early fl. Andros-
ellon. Strongly suggests P. pratense, but at. decumbent
there is knee-bent at several joints. St. has a very
def." bulb" at base. At the base of this main bulb are others,
equally definite, from which proceed tiny shoots. The
axes of the 2 lowest hro bear similar little bulbs & ty
shoots. Spike (now with upper stamens just closing)
60x6mm. Fl as in P. pratensek.
