9-3-33 clearly that C. Chaeophyllum with oil tubes very distinct and cross-section not like H. ? fl. to help ident.
But styles not at all recurved. Fr 13 mm long, carpo-
phore divided to below middle. Style more contracted
than in C. Ciceraria (with which cf) as
suggested by ill (Cote) Styles 2mm long. St ± large &v
stripled red.

Brig. SWI 480 Fr. Jamaan region. Fr. 11mm long, carpo-
phore hardly dividing at apex. This seems to be the plant
common around Elion. Styles 2 mm long. St stripel
votiped red as in C.V.-
9-10-33? Chaerophyllum aureum L. Cote II 222,
Bon 134, SWI 480. Fr. Elion. Fr 10mm long styles recurving
(but only 1 mm long which seems contrary to Cote and
SWI). Fr certainly not golden but is def more yellowish
than fr of C.C. or C.V. and is thicker than C.C. Carpo-
phore very slightly divided at apex. Plant in general has
a glabrous effect, st swollen under nodes and
somewhat reddened on one side. Shape of flo
strongly suggest Anthriscus silvestris where
fr (cf) are distinctly different. Bracts & involucles
(as far as they remain) as less. Bract of involuere
practically none (at least remaining) but note that
one was found jointe with 5 lobes. (See 4-27-34
