"8-2-33 note that ours have not 'many glands' on pedicels, perianth and stipes (stipules) are not 'loose, shortly fringed'. 8-2-33? Euphorbia hirtella Jord. Coste III 42, 504 Ica [see 7-11-33]. Fly fs. Meadow slightly north of Rhinebridge Villeneuve - Bonnet path. Corolla 9mm long when ready to fall, its tube as long as calyx and certainly not 'verlängert' (SUIT). Dipaulis, bracts, calices well provided with fine gland-tipped hairs. So no other form S.I. seems tenable but the elt. seems much against it and the slender sts are much branched, often with ± simple branches from near the base, but also otherwise. [9-26-34 parts merely a small fly'd form of E. Precinct h. are 7-11-33] 8-2-33 Italium palmatic. L. Coste II 342, Bon 142, BUI 221, & 749, SUIT 633 Fly fs. Villeneuve - Bonnet. A. 2 pieces yet, no fls., rooting at nodes. The largest lo (overall 32 x 5 mm) but there much smaller ones same at its branches B. 2 specs with slender sts to 16 in high; the largest lo 13x4mm. C. Several specs in meadows next south of la Beaugette with slender sts to 6in high, the lo 4 x 1.5 mm. In other chars. these all agree. St. slightly rough to touch w/ eye (20x) but without definite stipples. Lvs with a few nearly intiret slant down-pointing barsons
