243, SV/I 677. Flv young fr. St. King's Park-Villeneuve
(records in manuals of Bouveret) at 2½ ft high from
a creeping base glabrous, very up to tip. Lvs long-
lanceolate (the largest 10x2 cm), involutely curling
out v downwards, very clumps at tips; some-
what cordate at the partially clasping base; edge
very rough with hair tipped teeth. Outer invol both
green, spreading-recurved, ciliate. Inner bracts
erect, linear, and (at least on upper part) covered most
side with fine brownish, appressed pubescence. Disk
about 12 mm diam.; the numerous, narrow rays
extending about 15 mm beyond the disk. Flo heads
6 in long compb. Achene glabrous. Anther tails very
distinct (20X). All [Bon] almost as better than either Cote
(where they are inferior broad) or BVH (where they are not
curling downward.

fr. St. King's Park or wall edge of cultivation. A very
small specimen has suggested either G. rotundifolium
or G. molle and not as deeply cut as ill (Cote or BVH)
