7-18-33 radish form. O.p.- St 64 cm high, definitely ridged, solid near base but unquestionably hollow & compressible from below the middle. St purple at very base [but] but otherwise (blue?) & a green that might be either (grae- or "satt"-) but not glaucous. Lvs at very base are gone but the others are all very similar (except the uppermost being only once pinnate.) with linear segments. On lowerl of the segments are less elongated than in the upper ones and broader (2mm incrusted?) 1 mm) but nothing like the ill. O.L. BWTHTI . The appulus very like those ill BWTHTI. O.h- and are most suggestive of O.l.- (Bon) and of O.p.- (Cate). Petals (SvK) green & shield-like below the blade but (ex- cept in the lowest few existing the rachis of) is hollow like the St. Umbels 2 1/4 in across of 13 rays; umbelletts convex, distinct, almost 1/2 in diam. Bracts involucre 0-2, involucel many narrow linear but not "borstlebl. (SvK for O.p.-). Each umbellet consists of pedicled einferile flo around edge & sessile (or almost so) fertile flor in center. Petals white, the exteria certainly somewhat "rayonnants," cut to 1/3 rather than to 1/2 length & seem more "a coin" than "arrondis" at the base. Calyx teeth plainly visible. [8-2-33 Flo young fr. Villeneuve marsh. Proto's involucre exactly as ill for O. Lachensalis Swd. BWTHTI. 202. But St usually widely hollow ( SvK to the contrary) & Styles now 1/2 length of fr.
