7-18-33 Lepidium virginicum L. Cate I 140, Bon 33 & 4-25 SVI 288 Floz. Rotation Boveret. Plant whole [illegible] 1 1/2 miles traveled over jumping the main st. Has fallen from the lower 4 in. (Leaving the beginning of branches in their axils). Above this point all leaves are linear (the largest 28 x 2 1/2-3 mm) with 1-2 teeth toward tip (Hence no leaves as ill & in Cate). But cotyledon is plainly accumbent (see SVI 287 &) as no other posses SVI. Stv 40(20x) with very fine & short upward arched hairs. Petals present [inflo near tip] infls slightly longer than sepals. Stamens 2. Fr obicular 3+mm diam, or pedicels only slightly longer. Pod somewhat flattened (marginally) at top. Seed on outer lower edge plainly (20x) the slightly wing-margined.[8-2-33 Plants from same spot of kind & Frederal & slim. Differences obvious] 855 7-18-33 Cerrantier [pseuedanifolia Foli] Cate #198, Bon 130, SVI 493 (See also BHDIT #202-204) Early fl. Boveret. In marsh & south side of main road bet Boveret & Phone Bridge. Fr far to young to help incident and the beginning of root at base of as collected & no help. The only other possibility (a strong one) is Br. Laelentalii Grebel (notice in the one SVI quote for Vaud & Valais). Roots as presence goes is for the thick fibers D.O.L- rather than the radial form
