Lvs beneath, petioles, stem parts, inflo calyx all def silky with slight appressed hairs. Venulats yrs. und shorthe appressed hairs. Lfts a strong dark green above in contrast with the gray beneath! Lfts rounded to Huse, mucronate. Very young lobes show silking on underside closely appressed, upper side glabrous, edges (when viewed from upper side) silky because of the hairs on the underside. Lfts with stalks 1 1/2 - 2 mm [5-20-34 RBK can find no lvs like L. alpinum on this tree!]
